We are pleased to present the third issue of the Proceedings of the Technology and Emerging Media (TEM) track of the Canadian Communication Association. The consolidated texts give an overview of some research presented at our meeting held at Brock University (St. Catharines, Ontario), from 28 to 30 May 2014, as part of the annual Canadian Communication Association (CCA) conference. The published texts were selected after a double blind peer review process.
This third edition helps make the TEM section an important meeting for researchers, professors, students and practitioners who are interested in the study of technology and emerging media. We thank all the participants who made this meeting possible and also those who contributed to the publication of the 2014 proceedings.
Special thanks should be sent to people who have generously agreed to evaluate the submitted texts. Thank you to authors who responded to the evaluation process with enthusiasm and diligence. We are grateful to the co-chairs of the TEM section, Guillaume Latzko-Toth and Philippe Ross, who supported us during the publishing process. Finally, we wish to express our thanks to Olivier Gadeau, who conducted the launch of this issue.
